INSPECTION PROCEDURE D-5: Power Window Relay: Passenger's window do not work normally by operating the power window main switch.





CIRCUIT OPERATION
The power window motor (RH) opens or closes the power window (RH) when the passenger's power switch of the power window main switch is moved to "UP" or "DOWN" position.

TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION (COMMENT)
If the power window (RH) opens and closes normally when the power window sub-switch is moved to "UP" or "DOWN" position, the power window main switch may be defective.

TROUBLESHOOTING HINT
- The power window main switch may be defective.

STEP 1. Check that power window sub-switch operate normally.

Q: Power window (RH) can not work by means of the power window main switch. But, can you operate the power window (RH) by means of the corresponding power window sub-switch?

YES : Replace the power window main switch.

NO : Repair the power window (RH) so that it can be operated by means of the power window sub-switch. Refer to Inspection Procedure D-4 "Power window do not work normally by operating the passenger's power window sub-switch
