HVAC Mode And Temperature Lever Service
OVERVIEW:
This bulletin describes new parts that are available for HVAC service.
MODELS:
2001 - **2005** (ST) Sebring/Stratus Coupe
DISCUSSION:
The mode (Fig. 1) and temperature (Fig. 2) linkage levers have been made available as service components for the HVAC assembly. If either lever is broken or damaged, the linkage levers can be replaced separately as compared to replacing the HVAC assembly.
To replace either lever, remove the cable from the lever and HVAC case attachment, remove the lever mounting screw and secure the new lever in place of the broken one.
NOTE:
THE FLOOR DUCT MUST BE SET ASIDE TO GAIN ACCESS TO THE MODE LEVER. PULL THE DUCT OUT AND ROTATE IT ON THE ATTACHING RIVET.
