Fuel Pressure Release: Service and Repair

FUEL PUMP CONNECTOR DISCONNECTION (HOW TO REDUCE PRESSURIZED FUEL LINES)






WARNING
When removing the fuel pipe, etc., release fuel pressure to prevent fuel spray.

1. Remove the instrument panel side cover (driver's side).
2. Disconnect the fuel pump relay (2).
3. Start the engine and let it run until it stops naturally. Turn the ignition switch to the "LOCK" (OFF) position.
4. Connect the fuel pump relay (2).
5. Install the instrument panel side cover (driver's side).
