STIFFENER AND DAMPING SHEET APPLICATION LOCATIONS




Stiffener has been applied to the inside of the quarter outer panel, lower and damping sheet has been applied to the quarter panel, inner, lower in order to increase surface rigidity and reduce vibration.

NOTE: Stiffener is a sheet material made mainly from epoxy resin mixed with glass fibers and filler which becomes stiff when it is heated. It is used for the purpose of improving the rigidity of outer panels.
