DTC P0758: Shift Solenoid-B (Underdrive Solenoid) Malfunction

DESCRIPTIONS OF MONITOR METHODS
If solenoid terminal voltage is below specified value when shift control is not in progress, TCM judges that shift solenoid-B (underdrive solenoid) has a failure.

Continuous

MONITOR EXECUTION CONDITIONS (Other monitor and Sensor)

Other Monitor (There is no temporary DTC stored in memory for the item monitored below)
- P0731: Gear 1 incorrect ratio
- P0732: Gear 2 incorrect ratio
- P0733: Gear 3 incorrect ratio
- P0734: Gear 4 incorrect ratio
- P0736: Gear reverse incorrect ratio
- P0743: Torque converter clutch solenoid malfunction
- P0753: Shift solenoid-A (Low and reverse solenoid) malfunction
- P0763: Shift solenoid-C (Second solenoid) malfunction
- P0768: Shift solenoid-D (Overdrive solenoid) malfunction
- P1751: A/T control relay malfunction

Sensor (The sensor below is determined to be normal)
- Torque converter clutch solenoid
- Shift solenoid-A (Low and reverse solenoid)
- Shift solenoid-C (Second solenoid)
- Shift solenoid-D (Overdrive solenoid)
- A/T control relay

DTC SET CONDITIONS (Entry Conditions and Malfunction Thresholds)

Check Conditions
- Solenoid status: either solid ON or OFF.
- Shift status: in-gear.
- Voltage of battery: 10 volts or more.

Judgement Criteria
- Solenoid voltage: 3 volts or less. (0.3 second)

OBD-II DRIVE CYCLE PATTERN
Start the engine, and keep the vehicle stopped in P range for 5 seconds.
