SYMPTOM
P1492-AMBIENT/BATT TEMP SEN VOLTS TOO HIGH

WHEN MONITORED
The ignition key on.

SET CONDITION
The Ambient Temperature Sensor voltage is greater than 4.9 volts at the PCM for 5 seconds.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Ambient temperature sensor voltage above 4.8 Volts
- (K25) AAT sensor signal circuit shorted to voltage
- Ambient temperature sensor internal failure
- (K25) AAT sensor signal circuit open
- (K4) sensor ground circuit open
