SYMPTOM
P1597-SPEED CONTROL SWITCH ALWAYS LOW

WHEN MONITORED
With the ignition key ON. Battery voltage above 10 volts.

SET CONDITION
When switch voltage is less than 0.43 volts for 2 minutes.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Intermittent Condition
- Speed Control ON/OFF Switch
- Speed Control Resume/Accel Switch
- Speed Control Switch Signal Circuit Shorted To Sensor Ground
- Speed Control Switch Signal Circuit Shorted To Ground
- PCM
