Courtesy Lamp Output Failure

SYMPTOM
COURTESY LAMP OUTPUT FAILURE

WHEN MONITORED
Any time the courtesy lamps should be on door ajar, illuminated entry, or dimmer switch placed in dome lamp position.

SET CONDITION
BCM detects an over - voltage condition on its courtesy lamp output.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Intermittent condition
- Short to battery
- Short to ground
- Body control module
