SYMPTOM
P1486-EVAP LEAK MONITOR PINCHED HOSE FOUND

WHEN MONITORED
Battery fully charged, no low fuel, inlet air temperature between 5 °C (40 °F) and 32 °C (90 °F) and coolant temperature between 5 °C (40 °F) and 38 °C (100 °F), vehicle speed below 40 kph (25MPH).

SET CONDITION
The PCM detects a blocked EVAP hose between the LDP and the fuel tank.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Intermittent LDP monitor failure
- EVAP canister obstructed
- Pressurizing EVAP emission system
- Obstruction in hose/tube between EVAP canister and purge solenoid
- LDP pressure hose obstructed
- Leak detection pump
