No Antenna Connection

SYMPTOM
NO ANTENNA CONNECTION

WHEN MONITORED
With the ignition on and the radio in seek up/down mode.

SET CONDITION
With the radio in seek or scan mode for two minutes and the radio does not detect an antenna connection or does not receive a radio station signal.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Bad antenna connection
- Fixed Mast antenna
- Radio no antenna connection - fixed mast
- Bad power amplifier connections
- Rear window defogger/antenna module
- Rear window defogger antenna (GRID)
- Radio 12v output open
- Poor case ground connection
- Radio - No antenna connection
