Power Seat Switch: Service and Repair
Disconnect Battery Negative Remote Cable:
REMOVAL
1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative remote cable.
2. Remove the T20 recliner handle retaining screw and remove the recliner handle from the seat cushion,
3. Remove the two forward most retaining screws from the seat cushion side shield.
4. Gently pull the seat cushion side shield away from the seat cushion and disconnect the wiring from the switch. Using a flat-bladed pry tool gently work the large rectangle shaped connector off the back of the switch by working around the connector until it is free from the switch.
5. Remove the rear seat switch attaching screw and loosen the front screw from the seat cushion side shield.
6. Remove the power seat switch from the seat cushion side shield.
INSTALLATION
1. Position the power seat switch and install the rear seat switch attaching screw and tighten the front screw to the seat cushion side shield.
2. Connect the wiring on the switch. Start the large rectangle shaped connector on the switch terminals and then push the connector straight on the switch.
3. Install the two forward most retaining screws on the seat cushion side shield.
4. Install the recliner handle and the T20 recliner handle retaining screw.
5. Connect the battery negative remote cable.
