ACM No Right SIACM Messages (Stored)

Test 1:

SYMPTOM
ACM, NO RIGHT SIACM MESSAGE - STORED

TEST NOTE
This symptom is diagnosed using the ACM, INTERROGATE RIGHT SIACM - STORED.

WHEN MONITORED
With ignition ON, the ACM monitors the PCI Bus for the Right Side Impact Airbag Control Module status message. The Right SIACM transmits the status message to the ORC at 1 second intervals.

SET CONDITION
If the ACM fails to see the Right SIACM status message on the PCI Bus for 5 seconds the code will set.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Checking for active right SIACM DTCS
- Stored code present
