DISASSEMBLY SERVICE POINTS




Blank C Removal
1. Lock the blank "C" and remove the screw.

CAUTION: There is a possibility of breakage if locked by using the coupling and the like, so ensure to lock by using the blank "C".




Plate/Unit/Ignition Coil Set Removal
1. Remove the terminal screw and the ignition coil presser plate screw shown in the illustration.




2. Hold the combination of housing and unit and the ignition coil set with right and left hand in parallel with each other as shown in the illustration, remove combination of the housing and unit and the ignition coil set simultaneously so as to push out two connectors evenly from the housing.




3. Remove the plate locating between the ignition coil set and the unit.
4. Remove the unit while shifting it sideways.

REASSEMBLY SERVICE POINTS




Ignition Coil Set/Unit/Plate Installation
1. Mount the unit from the side to the ignition coil set so that the connector terminal is not deformed.

CAUTION: If the connector Is deformed, It may cause insufficient contact.




2. Put the plate between the ignition coil set and the unit.

CAUTION: The plate must be mounted with the predetermined orientation. Therefore, ensure to check the correct mounting orientation by mating it with the housing before putting In between. If the orientation is wrong, it cannot be mounted to the housing.

3. Locate the interposed plate at the position shown in the illustration.




4. Mount the combination of housing and unit and the ignition coil set by pushing two connectors evenly little by little into the housing.




5. Attach the screw for plate.
6. Attach the connector terminal screw.




Rotor Installation
1. Mount the rotor as shown in the illustration by aligning the rotor terminal portion and the thin portion of blank "C" spline cut section.
