Clearing Trouble Codes

WHEN USING THE SCAN TOOL
Connect the scan tool to the data link connector (16-pin), then erase the diagnostic trouble codes.

WHEN USING THE ABS WARNING LIGHT
When the ignition switch is turned on while the stop light switch is on, the brake pedal will operate 10 times in succession according to the timing given below.

NOTE If the repair has been made but the ABS diagnostic trouble code not erased, the vehicle must exceed 12 km/h to turn off the ABS warning light and re-enable the ABS.





CAUTION The memory cannot be erased under the following conditions.
1. When the stop light switch Is not turned on and off according to the table below.
2. When the generator L terminal voltage increased (HI state).
