Camshaft Oil Seal: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Remove timing belt and camshaft sprocket(s).
2. Remove camshaft seal(s).

INSTALLATION
1. Apply light coat of engine oil to the camshaft oil seal lip.

2. Install the oil seal using Special Tool MD998713 or 6863 camshaft oil seal installers (Fig. 80) and (Fig. 81).
