Drum Brakes (Rear)

DESCRIPTION






This vehicle's rear wheel drum brakes are a two shoe leading/trailing internal expanding type, with an automatic self-adjuster mechanism. The automatic self-adjuster mechanism used on this vehicle is a screw type adjuster. The automatic self-adjuster mechanism is located directly below the rear wheel cylinder.

OPERATION
This vehicle's rear wheel drum brake shoes expand outward against the drum when applied. The automatic self-adjuster mechanism is actuated each time the vehicles service brakes are applied.
