Symptom:
P1789-OD/2-4 HYDRAULIC PRESSURE SWITCH CIRCUIT

When Monitored and Set Condition:
P1789-OD/2-4 HYDRAULIC PRESSURE SWITCH CIRCUIT

When Monitored:
In 1st, 2nd, or 3rd gear with engine speed above 1000 RPM shortly after a shift and every minute there after.

Set Condition:
TCM momentarily turns on element pressure to the 2-4 and OD clutch circuit to identify that the pressure switch closes. If the switch does not close the first time it is retested again, if the switch does not close on the second test, the code is set.
