SYMPTOM
P1388 - ASD RELAY CONTROL CIRCUIT

WHEN MONITORED
With the ignition key ON and battery voltage greater than 10 volts.

SET CONDITION
An open or shorted condition is detected in the Auto Shutdown relay control circuit.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Fused B(+) circuit open
- ASD relay resistance ≥ 100.0 ohms
- ASD relay control circuit open
- ASD relay control circuit wiring harness intermittent defect
- ASD relay control circuit wiring harness observable defect
- ASD relay control shorted to ground
- PCM defective (ASD relay control circuit)
