SYMPTOM
P0122 - THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR VOLTAGE LOW

WHEN MONITORED
With the ignition ON.

SET CONDITION
TP sensor voltage at PCM cavity 35 goes below 0.2 volt for 0.704 seconds.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- TPS 5 volt supply circuit open
- TPS signal circuit shorted to ground
- TPS signal circuit shorted to sensor ground circuit
- TPS wiring harness intermittent defect
- TPS wiring harness observable defect
- TPS voltage change not smooth
- Throttle Position Sensor defective
- Transmission Control Module defective (TPS)
- PCM defective (TPS voltage low)
