Trunk / Liftgate Striker: Service and Repair

LATCH STRIKER

REMOVAL

1. Release decklid latch and open decklid.
2. Remove push in fasteners attaching decklid lining to tail panel.
3. Remove trunk lining from tail panel.

4. Remove bolts attaching decklid latch striker to tail panel (Fig. 4).
5. Remove striker from vehicle.

INSTALLATION

1. Install striker in vehicle.
2. Install trunk lining from tail panel.
3. Install push in fasteners attaching decklid lining to tail panel.
4. Close decklid.
