SYMPTOM
P0320 - NO CRANK REFERENCE SIGNAL AT PCM

WHEN MONITORED
With the ignition in either the START or RUN position and battery voltage between 4 - 15 volts.

SET CONDITION
No signal from the Crankshaft Position Sensor is present when engine vacuum is present or cam signals are present.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Crankshaft notches damaged
- Sensor ground circuit open
- Irregular lab scope pattern of CKP signal
- Stray signal from the Camshaft Position Sensor
- Wiring harness intermittent defect
- CKP signal circuit open
- CKP signal circuit shorted to ground
- CKP signal circuit shorted to sensor ground circuit
- CKP sensor defective
- PCM defective
- PCM defective (8 volt supply)
- 8 volt supply circuit open
- 8 volt supply circuit shorted to ground
- 8 volt supply circuit shorted to voltage
- 8 volt supply shorted to sensor ground circuit
- CKP signal circuit shorted to 8 volt supply circuit
- CKP signal circuit shorted to voltage
