Fuel Level Sensor Open

SYMPTOM
FUEL LEVEL SENSOR OPEN

WHEN MONITORED
With Ignition ON.

SET CONDITION
The Instrument Cluster monitors the fuel level sensor signal circuit for a resistance value between approximately 25 ohms to 1100 ohms. If the Cluster senses a resistance greater than 1100 ohms, this code will set.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Sensor ground CKT open
- Defective instrument cluster - open fuel level
- Fuel level sensor open
- Fuel level sensor signal circuit open
