SYMPTOM
P1281 - ENGINE IS COLD TOO LONG

TEST NOTE
This symptom is diagnosed using the test P0125 - CLOSED LOOP TEMPERATURE NOT REACHED.

WHEN MONITORED
The ignition key ON, engine running.

SET CONDITION
The engine does not warm to 176 °F while driving for 20 minutes after start.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Low coolant level
- Thermostat
- ECT sensor (out of calibration) / high resistance in related circuit
