SYMPTOM
MODE DOOR STALL FAILURE

TEST NOTE
This symptom is diagnosed using the test MODE DOOR FEEDBACK FAILURE.

WHEN MONITORED
During HVAC motor calibration.

SET CONDITION
The BCM is unable to detect the end of travel for mode door actuator.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Blend air door actuator
- Body control module
- Mode door feedback signal circuit short to battery
- Common door driver wire open
- Sensor ground wire open
- Mode door feedback signal circuit open
- Mode door driver wire open
- Mode door feedback signal circuit short to ground.
- 5 volt supply circuit open
- 5 volt supply circuit short to ground.
- 5 volt supply circuit short to voltage
- 5 volt supply circuit short to sensor ground
- Mode door actuator short to sensor ground
- Mode door actuator
- Mode air door actuator
- Body control module-common door driver
- Body control module-mode door driver
- Body control module
