SYMPTOM
BLEND DOOR FEEDBACK FAILURE

TEST NOTE
This symptom is diagnosed using the test BLEND DOOR FEEDBACK FAILURE.

WHEN MONITORED
At the first ignition ON after a battery disconnect or upon request of the HVAC control or the DRBIII.

SET CONDITION
This code will set if the BCM does not receive proper feedback signal when drive voltage is being applied to the mode door actuator.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Blend door feedback signal circuit short to battery
- Body control module
- Mode door actuator
- Sensor ground wire open
- Blend door feedback signal circuit open
- Common door driver wire open
- Blend air door driver wire open
- Blend door feedback signal circuit short to ground.
- 5 volt supply circuit open
- 5 volt supply circuit short to ground.
- 5 volt supply circuit short to voltage
- 5 volt supply circuit short to sensor ground
- Blend door actuator shorted to sensor ground
- Blend air door actuator
- Blend air door actuator
- Body control module-blend door driver
- Body control module-common door driver
- Body control module
