SYMPTOM
MIC MESSAGE NOT RECEIVED

TEST NOTE
This symptom is diagnosed using the test MIC MESSAGE NOT RECEIVED.

WHEN MONITORED
Ignition ON.

SET CONDITION
The BCM has not received any PCI Bus messages from the Instrument Cluster for at least 14 seconds.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Attempt to communicate with another module
- Fused B(+) circuit open
- Ground circuit open
- Ground circuit open
- Check the PCI bus circuit for voltage
- Body control module
- Check the PCI bus circuit (MIC) for an open
