Flag Speaker Screw Contacts Door Seal

OVERVIEW:
This bulletin involves replacing the flag speaker mounting screws with revised parts.

MODELS:
2000 (LH) Concorde/Intrepid/LHS/300M

SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
The flag speaker mounting screws may contact the body mounted door seals causing wind noise and/or damage to the door seals.

DIAGNOSIS:
Inspect the body mounted door seals in the area of the flag speakers. If there are witness marks from contact with the flag speaker screws or damage to the seals, perform the Repair Procedure.

REPAIR PROCEDURE:
THIS REPAIR IS COMPATIBLE WITH DAIMLERCHRYSLER'S MOBILE SERVICE PROGRAM AND DOES NOT REQUIRE HOISTS OR OTHER FULL SERVICE FACILITY SPECIAL EQUIPMENT.

1. Remove and replace the flag speaker mounting screws with p/n, 00154791.
