CODE NAME
Wheel speed sensor excessive gap or short circuit

CODE DESCRIPTION
These diagnostic trouble codes are output when the detection speed of the wheel speed sensors is below the standard value.

PROBABLE CAUSE
- Improper installation of wheel speed sensor
- Malfunction of wheel speed sensor (intermittent open circuit or short circuit)
- Malfunction of Antilock Brake System (ABS) rotor (chipped tooth or ABS rotor not installed)
- Noise interference in wheel speed sensor

NOTE:
1. Momentary interruptions within approximately 100 ms are not detected.
2. To inspect the twisted pair wires in the wheel speed sensor, check if there is any damage to the cables, and flex the cables to check for any open circuits.
