REPAIR PROCEDURE:

This bulletin involves replacing the hook and loop fastener above the rear window.

1. Cover the rear seat with a protective cover (drop cloth).

2. Remove the two headlining attaching screws below the rear window.

3. Remove the existing hook and loop fastener from the rear window curtain.

4. Place the new hook and loop fastener on the top of the rear seat back, with shinny side up.

5. Remove the cap from the glue. Using a small paper clip, pierce a hole in the end of the glue tube (smaller hole works best).

6. Start on the left hand end of the hook and latch strip applying two 1/8 inch beads about 1/8 inch from the edge of strip for a 6 inch length.

7. Using the applicator brush, smooth out the glue consistently over the entire 6 inch surface of the hook and latch strip, making sure the glue is evenly spread out to the edges of the strip.

8. Take the hook and latch strip and place it onto the rear window curtain (using the old glue marks for location). Steps 7 and 8 should be completed in about 30 seconds.

9. After placing hook and latch strip onto rear window curtain press with your thumb to ensure complete glue contact.

10. Pull glued hook and latch strip back about one inch and repeat steps 6, 7, and 9 until the entire strip has been attached.

11. Save the tube of glue and drop cloth for 24 hours and check hook and loop strip for any loose edges. If loose install drop cloth and apply glue to loose edges.

12. Wait 24 hours after applying glue and attach headliner to rear window curtain.

13. Attach the two rear headlining screws.

14. Discard left over glue and brush (open glue has a limited shelf life).

POLICY: Reimbursable within the provisions of the warranty.
