Lock Cylinder Switch: Description and Operation

SYSTEM OPERATION
The central lock/unlock system uses the Vehicle Theft Security System (VTSS) door key cylinder switches to lock and unlock all doors using the key. Turning the key to the lock position in the driver's or passenger's door will lock all doors. Turning the key in the driver's door to the unlock position once will unlock driver's door only. Turning the key a second time within five seconds of the first time will unlock all doors. Turning the key in the passenger's door to the unlock position will unlock all doors.

Using the door key cylinder or the RKE transmitter lock/unlock operation will arm/disarm the Vehicle Theft Security System (VTSS).
