Instrument Panel Speakers Replacement 2

CAUTION: Do not operate the radio with speaker leads detached. Damage to the output devices may result.

REMOVAL

Battery Negative Remote Cable:

1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative remote cable.
2. Remove instrument panel top cover.
a. Remove screw from right side of the top cover.

Instrument Panel Top Cover:

b. Carefully, pry up each end of top cover to disengage clips.
c. Lift rear edge of top cover using a trim stick along rear edge.
d. While lifting rear edge slide top cover rearward to disengage front clips and remove the top cover.

Instrument Panel Speakers:

3. To remove right or left speaker remove two retaining screws. Lift up speaker and disconnect wire connector.

INSTALLATION
For installation, reverse the above procedures.
