SYMPTOM
HVAC MODE DOOR FEEDBACK FAILURE

WHEN MONITORED
With the ignition key on and battery voltage greater than 10 Volts.

SET CONDITION
The feedback signal difference between the two ends of the door travel is not equal to or larger than a predetermined value during door calibration, or the feedback signal measured by the BCM is not within the calibrated range during normal operations.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Sensor ground circuit open
- Mode door connector disconnected
- 5 volt supply circuit short to ground
- Mode door feedback circuit short to B+
- 5 volt supply circuit open
- 5 volt supply circuit short to B(+)
- Mode door feedback signal circuit open
- Mode door feedback signal circuit short to ground
- Mode door actuator linkage bind
- Mode door actuator shorted
- BCM - 5 volt supply low
- BCM - sensor ground open
- Mode door actuator default
