HVAC Control Input Shorted to Battery

Tests 317 - 319:

SYMPTOM
HVAC CONTROL INPUT SHORTED TO BATTERY

WHEN MONITORED
With the ignition key on and battery voltage greater than 10 Volts

SET CONDITION
The HVAC control head input (HVAC mode sense circuit) voltage is greater than 4.7 Volts for 10 consecutive seconds.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- HVAC mode sense circuit shorted to B+
- BCM - HVAC mode sense shorted
