SYMPTOM LIST
WIPER PARK SWITCH FAILURE
TEST NOTE All symptoms listed above are diagnosed using the same tests. The title for the tests will be WIPER PARK SWITCH FAILURE.
WHEN MONITORED
With the Ignition key on, wipers operating in the Intermittent mode, and battery voltage greater than 10 Volts.
SET CONDITION
The wiper switch is in the Intermittent position and the park switch input does not go to 0 Volts within 18 seconds.
POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Wiper park switch toggle closed/open
- Open wiper park switch sense circuit
- DEF wiper motor/wiper park connector
- DEF BCM/Wiper park switch default
