Panel Lamp PWM Output Failure

SYMPTOM LIST
* HVAC CONTROL ILLUMINATION

TEST NOTE All symptoms listed above are diagnosed using the same tests. The title for the tests will be * HVAC CONTROL ILLUMINATION.

WHEN MONITORED
With the Ignition key on and battery voltage greater than 10 Volts.

SET CONDITION
The headlamp switch is in the on position and the Instrument panel lamps are shorted for 10 consecutive seconds.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- DRB displays ram fault
- DRB shows bus operational failure
- MIC cluster mismatch
- Cluster panel lamp driver circuit short GND
- Open panel lamp driver circuit
- Panel LP PWM failure code return
- Park lamp switch output circuit open
- Ash tray lamp defective
- PRNDL lamps driver circuit defective
- Radio panel lamp driver circuit
- BCM panel lamps dimmer output circuit defective
- BCM panel lamps driver output CKT defect
- HVAC control defective
- Instrument cluster circuit board defective
- Dimmer switch signal circuit open defect
- Dimmer switch signal circuit short
- Left multi-function switch defective
- BCM dimmer switch output circuit defective
- Defective BCM
- Ash tray lamp driver circuit defective
- BCM park lamp switch output CKT defective
- Cluster illumination lamps/printed CKT BD DEF
- Defective multi-function switch
- Instrument cluster/lamps defective
- Park lamps not lighting
- PRNDL lamps circuit short to ground
- Radio defective
