Wiper Motor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

Negative Battery Cable Remote Terminal:

1. Open hood and disconnect the negative battery cable remote terminal from the remote battery post.
2. Remove wiper module assembly. Refer to Wiper Module Assembly Replacement.
3. Disconnect wiper module master link from motor crank by carefully using a ball and socket wedge. Do not damage ball and socket or seal when using wedge.

Wiper Motor Retaining Bolts:

4. Remove three retaining bolts from wiper motor.
5. Remove wiper motor from wiper module assembly.

INSTALLATION
For installation, reverse the above procedures.
