Front Suspension
This vehicle uses a MacPherson strut front
suspension design. Each strut assembly includes a coil spring to absorb road shock. It also contains a rubber isolated strut upper mount, and seat and bearing which allows the strut to pivot when the vehicle is steered. The top of the strut assembly attaches to the vehicle at the shock tower. The lower end of the strut assembly attaches to the upper leg of the
steering knuckle which has a hub and bearing to support the front wheel and drive shaft. A forged lower control arm assembly is attached to the cradle and steering knuckle. A
tension strut connects to the lower control arm assembly to the cradle to help control fore and aft movement.
