Left Central Lock/Unlock Switch Failure Trouble Code

(Left or Right Central Lock (Arm)/Unlock (Disarm) Switch Failure (VTSS only)

WHEN MONITORED
Continuously

SET CONDITION
BCM detects a signal on this input for over 10 seconds.

THEORY OF OPERATION
The central lock/unlock switches are used to lock or unlock all doors and arm or disarm VTSS using the exterior key cylinder. Typical operation of these switches is to activate them for only a short period of time. If the BCM detects a signal for over 10 seconds on either input, it will set the fault and ignore the offending input until it goes away.

- Wiring short to battery
- Failed door key cylinder switch
- Failed BCM
