Upper

REMOVAL
Follow removal steps outlined in the illustration.

INSPECTION
- Check the bushings for wear and deterioration.
- Check the upper arm for bends or damage.
- Check all bolts for condition and straightness.

INSTALLATION
Follow removal steps in reverse order for installation, noting the following.





1. Tighten the upper arm bracket installation nut and bolt so that the dimension shown, is at (A) 37.2 +/-2 mm (1.46 +/-0.08 inch).





NOTE: If the upper arm bracket is installed with the former-mentioned standard value, the reference dimension is determined as follows: B: 213.5 mm (8.4 inch) C: 269.2 mm (10.6 inch).

2. Perform wheel alignment check and adjustment.
