4 Check Engine/Malfunction Indicator On and Will Not Go Out

Inspection Procedure 4:

Check engine/malfunction indicator lamp never goes out.
The PCM is probably detecting a problem in a sensor or actuator circuit or the problem is listed below.

Probable Cause
- Short-circuit between the check engine malfunction indicator lamp and PCM
- Malfunction of the PCM
