29 Ignition Circuit System

Inspection Procedure 29:

Symptom: Ignition circuit system
- The PCM interrupts the ignition coil primary current by turning the ignition power transistor inside the PCM ON and OFF.

Probable Cause
- Malfunction of MFI relay (ASD relay)
- Improper connector contact, open circuit or short-circuited harness wire
- Malfunction of the PCM
