Crankshaft Front Oil Seal Removal
(1) Make a notch in the oil seal lip with a knife, etc.
(2) Cover the end of a flat-tipped screwdriver with a shop towel and insert into the notched section of the oil seal, and lever out the oil seal to remove it.

Caution: Do not damage the crankshaft and the oil pump case.

INSTALLATION SERVICE POINT





Crankshaft Front Oil Seal Installation
(1) Apply a small amount of engine oil to the oil seal lip and then insert.
(2) Tap the oil seal into the cylinder block.
