REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

Pre-removal and Post-installation Operation
- Engine Oil Draining and Refilling
- Front Exhaust Pipe Removal and Installation
- Front Catalytic Converter (Front Bank Side) Removal and Installation

REMOVAL SERVICE POINT

Oil Pan Removal
Remove the oil pan mounting bouts. Then use the special tool and a brass bar to remove the oil pan.

Caution: Do this slowly to avoid deformation of the oil pan flange.

INSTALLATION SERVICE POINTS

Oil Pan Installation
Tighten the bolts in order of the numbers shown in the illustration.

Gasket Installation
Replace the gasket so it face in the direction shown in the illustration.
