Fuel Pressure Release: Service and Repair

Fuel Pump Connector:

CAUTION: Prior to disconnecting fuel lines etc. follow this procedure to release fuel pressure in the line to prevent fuel from spraying.

1. Remove the rear seat cushion.
2. Remove the protector to disconnect the fuel pump connector.
3. Start the engine and let it run until it stops naturally, turn the ignition switch to OFF.
4. Connect the fuel pump connector to install the protector.
5. Install the rear seat cushion.
