Fault Message
- Barometric Pressure Out of Range

Background
- The MAP sensor voltage is used by the PCM to determine the barometric pressure within the manifold.
- The PCM uses that value as an altitude reference to determine the adjustments to the fuel control mixture.

Range of Check
- With the ignition key on at less than 350 milliseconds and engine speed at less than 255 r/min.

Set Condition
- The PCM senses the voltage from the MAP sensor to be less than 2.196 volts but above 0.019 volt for 300 milliseconds.

Probable Cause
- MAP sensor failed.
- PCM failed.
- Wiring harness and connectors failed.
