Diagnostic Charts (By Fault Message)

NAME OF CODE:
- ABS Warning Lamp

WHEN MONITORED:
Ignition on. Every time a message is received from the instrument cluster.

SET CONDITION:
The instrument cluster will periodically send a status message of the ABS warning lamp to the Controller Antilock Brake (CAB) via the PCI bus. The CAB monitors the message for the proper state. If the CAB detects that the ABS warning lamp state does not match the commanded ABS lamp status, the diagnostic trouble code is set.

POSSIBLE CAUSES:
- Faulty LED
- Faulty PCI bus wiring
- Faulty instrument cluster
