Test 3A
System Relay Circuits Schematics:
NOTE: You must perform Test 1A before proceeding with this Test.
PROCEDURE
1. With the Diagnostic Read-Out Box (DRB), select "Erase Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)".
2. Turn he ignition off, then turn the ignition on.
3. With the DRB, select "Actuator Test" and "Left Front Sol". Actuate the "Left Front Sol" selection.
4. With the DRB, select "Read DTC's". Refer to the chart below and perform the appropriate test.
NOTE: If multiple codes are present, repair them in the order shown.
^ CAB Malfunction: Test 20A - Controller Enable
NOTE: If this code was present, disregard all other system relay codes.
^ System Relay Circuit: Test 3B
^ System Relay Output Circuit: Test 26A
^ Solenoid Undervoltage: Test 5A - Solenoid Undervoltage Fault
^ System Relay Ground Circuit Open: Test 25A - System Relay Ground Circuit
5. If no trouble codes return, refer to the schematic. Inspect the wiring harness and connectors of the system relay circuits.
6. If a problem is found, repair as necessary [1]. If no trouble codes return, proceed with footnote [2].
