Clutch Replacement

The modular clutch assembly is comprised of a single, dry clutch disc, diaphragm style cover and flywheel. These components are not independently serviceable; the entire clutch module must be replaced as an assembly.
1. Drain clutch hydraulic fluid and transaxle fluid into suitable containers.

2. Remove clutch assembly in numbered sequence shown.
3. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Apply Mitsubishi grease part No. 0101011, or equivalent, to contact points at ends of clutch release lever and to clutch disc splines. Use a suitable brush to force grease into splines.
b. Fill and bleed clutch hydraulic system as outlined under "Hydraulic System Service".
c. Fill transaxle with correct type of lubricant.
