Oil & Temperature Sending Unit

1. Test dash gauge and voltage limiter as outlined under "Voltage Limiter Test."
2. If system is satisfactory, start engine and allow it to reach operating temperature.
3. If no reading is indicated on gauge, remove wire from sending unit and momentarily ground this wire to a clean, unpainted portion of engine.
4. If gauge remains motionless, wire is defective. Repair or replace wire.
5. If grounding new or repaired wire activates dash gauge, sending unit is faulty. Replace as necessary.
