Evaporator Housing Removal and Installation

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.

2. Disconnect A/C drain hose
3. Disconnect suction pipe and liquid pipe.
4. Remove glove compartment and instrument panel corner panel.
5. Remove glove compartment under frame.
6. Remove right-hand center console side cover.
7. Remove ABS-ECU cover and bracket.
8. Remove cooling unit retaining pin by pushing center of pin into grommet with a suitable screwdriver. Push pin inward to a depth of about 0.08 inch, then pull outward to remove.
9. Remove cooling unit from vehicle.
10. Reverse procedure to install.
